  1. [Sept 21st‘06] St Declans Athletics Team won “Best Boys School” at the Waterford and South Kilkenny Primary Schools Cross Country Run at the Clover field.
  2. [Oct 24th ‘06] Our school U13 Gaelic Football Team secured a historic 4 in a row U13 Eastern Titles defeating Scoil Lorcáin 5-5 to 2-2 in Walsh Park.
  3. [Nov 11th ‘06] Well done to Darragh O Rourke who won gold in the Schools Munster 50m Freestyle race in Cork today.
  4. [Nov 21st ’06] Our School 7 a side Gaelic Football Team retained their Eastern Title in the Waterford INTO mini 7s Gaelic Football Competition in Dunhill today defeating Clonea, Knockmahon and Scoil Lorcáin.
  5. [Nov 25th ‘06] Another historic milestone! Our school U13 Gaelic Football Team defeated Lismore in Dunhill 4 – 3 to 1 – 6 and so were crowned U13 Gaelic Football County Champions for the 4th year in a row.
  6. [Dec 6th ‘06] Our School Quiz Team won first place at the Waterford Primary Schools Football League Sports Quiz at the Tower Hotel tonight.
  7. [Feb 14th ‘07] Today at the Butler Community Centre our School Indoor Hurling Team became East Waterford Indoor Hurling Champions for the second year in a row.
  8. [Mar 6th ‘07] Our School Indoor Hurling Team made up for last years defeat when today we won the Waterford County Indoor Hurling Final beating Lismore 9 – 6.
  9. [Apr 26th ‘07] Tonight our School Athletics Team won “Best Boys School” at the Waterford Primary Schools Sports at the RSE.
  10. [May 2nd ’07] Our school 7 a side Gaelic Football team were crowned County Champions today in Bushy Park, Dungarvan as they defeated Lismore 7-2 to 0-6 in the Waterford INTO Mini 7’s Gaelic Football Competition.
  11. [May 29th ‘07] Tonight our School Athletics Team competed in the Waterford Primary Schools County Athletics Finals in Dungarvan and won gold in the U8 and U9 relays as well as gold in the U9 80m and gold in the U9 300m.
  12. [June 26th ‘07] This morning at the Villa pitch we won our third Jack Kennedy Cup Title in a row defeating St Stephens 3 – 1
