[Sept 18th ’12] This afternoon,
our school athletics team competed in the Ferrybank AC Primary
Schools Cross Country event in the RSC. Everyone competed very well and at
the end of the day we were awarded the trophy for “Overall Best Boys School”.
Our captain Adam Power accepted the cup much to the delight of the rest of
the team. Congratulations to the whole team and thanks to Mr Doran and Mrs A
Brennan for looking after the team today. 2.
[Oct 25th ‘12] In Walsh Park today, our senior
football team won the Eastern
Final of the U13 Primary Schools Gaelic Football League. They defeated Ballygunner
1-7 to 0-1 in a much closer game than the final score might suggest.
Congratulations to all the players who played so well and to the supporters
from 5th and 6th who came along to cheer on the team. |
