- [Sept 16th
10] After some great team
and individual performances at the Ferrybank Primary Schools Cross
Country Races, our School
Athletics Team
were awarded the trophy for Best Overall Boys School. Well done lads!
- [Nov 16th
10] Following some of the
bravest performances ever seen by players in a St Declans shirt, we were
crowned Eastern
Champions of the
Waterford Mini
7s Gaelic Football Blitz
today in Ballygunner.
- [Nov 19th
10] At a gala dinner held
in Croke Park this evening, St Declans was presented with a special award for Respect- a new initiative by Cumann na mBunscol
Portlairge to foster positive behaviour in GAA Games. Mr Fitzgerald accepted the award on behalf of the
school.
- [Feb 18th
10] Having captured the
Eastern title last week, our 4th class 5 a side soccer team this morning succeeded in
achieving 3 county Titles in a row in the Futsal Indoor Soccer
Competition held in the
Kingfisher Leisure Centre.

11] Victory today in the Eastern Indoor Hurling
Primary Schools Competition
was a very special occasion as it marked another 3 in a row for the hurlers
of St Declans.
Well done lads.
- [Apr 12th
11] Following some energetic and brave team and
individual performances, our school Athletics Team won the trophy for
the Best Boys School at the Ferrybank Primary Schools Sports held
at the RSC today. Congratulations and well done to the whole team.

11] Our supporters were in full voice today as our U11 Hurlers
celebrated a solid victory against Mount Sion to become Waterford Primary Schools
U11 Hurling League Champions
for the second
year in a row.
- [June 2nd
11] Qualifiers from the recent Ferrybank School
Sports competed this evening in Dungarvan in the County Athletics Final
for Primary Schools. Even though we had a small
team travelling we came home with one
individual gold and two relay team medals. Once again thanks to Mr Doran
and Mrs A Brennan who looked after the team this year.
