Fitzgibbon Cup Visit – Mar
14th ‘08
Former pupil and
captain of the recent All Ireland
winning WIT Fitzgibbon Team, Kevin Moran paid us visit today and brought the
cup along to show it off for all to see. Kevin spoke of the times he spent
here at school and also of his delight in winning what has been described as
the greatest Fitzgibbon Cup Final of all time. Mr O Mahony presented him with
a statuette from the school to commemorate this fantastic achievement. Like
all Waterford people we wish Kevin the best of luck with the Waterford team
this year and we hope to see him back again soon with the Liam McCarthy! The last picture below is Kevin with his
brothers 6th class.
