Harmony Run – April 1st
09
Today we were very
fortunate to have a visit by some of the runners who are involved in the
Harmony Run around the coast of Ireland. The runners who carry an
Olympic style torch come from all over the world and do the run in a relay
manner. Their message of harmony and peace is very clear and they were given
a fabulous welcome by everyone. After a formal welcome by Mr Doran they were
greeted in a number of different languages. A certificate to remember their
visit was presented in the senior yard and everyone got a chance to hold the
torch as it was passed around in a circle.
