Hurling league Final – Oct 16th ‘09
[Oct
16th ‘09] Our in school hurling league organized by
Mr Kirby for 3rd and 4th classes came to a conclusion
today over in the college field as the final was played in perfect
conditions. Over recent weeks teams battled it out to see who would reach the
final two. There was a great air of excitement and anticipation as the teams
and supporters headed over this afternoon. The game itself was tight and
close for long periods but in the end it was David O Hares team who came out
on top. Congratulations boys. Well done to everyone who took part, to parents
for supporting it and in particular to Mr Kirby for all his time initiating
and organizing this competition. |
