Mayor’s Visit – Oct 23rd

The Mayor of Waterford
Jack Walsh was greeted in traditional style as he visited our school today to
present certificates of attendance to all the boys who had full attendance at
school for last year. Keelan Tyrell brilliantly read the formal welcome and
in his speech the Mayor spoke on the benefits of everyone working together as
a team to achieve success. He received a loud cheer of approval when he
announced a night of free homework! The
School Tin Whistle Band later played a number of tunes to entertain the Mayor
before he left. Many thanks to Mr Corbett and Mrs A Brennan in helping the
band prepare for today.
