Mr Hughes Retires – Dec 23rd
2010
Today, after 40 years of dedicated service to St Declans, Mr
Hughes has retired. Earlier this morning, Muriel Grogan and Angela
McIllhinney from the Parents Association presented him with a watch to mark
his great contribution and many years in St Declans. Yesterday, led by Mr
Grant, the boys too had their turn to show their appreciation to the great
man. They presented him with a bird table, an apple tree and a special surprise
of a bike! We all join together to wish Mr Hughes long health and happiness
in his retirement.
