Congratulations Eric – Nov 24th
‘08
Last weekend was extra
special for Eric because at an elaborate function in Limerick
hosted by the Share a Dream Foundation he received an award for bravery and
courage. Eric has had many serious operations over the years and yet despite
all the tough days he still comes to school with a smile on his face and goes
about his daily routine as if nothing had happened. Eric received his award
from Davy Fitzgerald the Waterford Hurling
Manager and also won a family holiday to Disneyland!!!
Today the whole school gathered together in the Junior Yard to congratulate
Eric on his award. After that it was time to do an interview with Billy
McCarthy on WLR. Its tough being a celebrity but someone got to do it!
