Gaelic Football League Final – Dec ‘05
Here are the winners of our own Class
Gaelic Football League,TheWarriors. They defeated the A-Team 4 goals to
nil in the final. This was a great game , with the scoreline at nil all for
nearly all the first half. In the second half Adam Potters team took over
with goals from Dean Purcell, Geoff Foley and Adam himself. Jack Frisby was
very strong at full-back but the man-of-the-match had to be Steven Waters on
goal. Steven made at least 4 point-blank saves to deny the A-Team. Without
Steven the score should have been 4 goals apiece. Hard luck to the A-Team
(Captain Ciaran Kelly) and congratulations to the Warriors.
