Soccer” for real! – June ‘09
4 of our 6th class boys… Adam Doheny, Stephen Doheny
Robert Ryan and Aaron O Connor {3 of whom are pictured below} made Waterford sporting history
recently by being members of the Villa team that won the national finals of
the Danone Cup. In October they will represent Ireland
in the World Cup Finals in Brazil
where they will compete against teams from 39 other countries. This is a
tremendous achievement for the whole team and the club, and we wish the boys
all the best next October. Lets hope they get their hands on the golden
trophy!
